Using a lot of space? Before adding storage, it's worth checking your uploads. A single unedited video can be several gigabytes. Deleting large videos you've already watched, or photos that didn't quite make the cut, is often the quickest way to free up room without spending a penny.

- Which plan is right for me?
- Start with The Nest (Free). Try every feature with up to 6 members and 500 MB storage. When you hit the storage wall or need more members, upgrade to The Full Nest. If you want lifetime access with succession protection for decades to come, The Legacy is the best long-term value.
- What happens if the platform shuts down?
- Your data is yours. If we ever sunset the platform, we will provide at least 12 months' notice and a full data-export tool so you can download every photo, journal entry, and memory you've saved.
- Can I upgrade from Annual to Legacy?
- Absolutely. You can upgrade at any time from The Full Nest to The Legacy plan. When you do, your subscription will be cancelled and you'll get full lifetime access immediately.
- How does ownership transfer work?
- Annual and Legacy members can designate a Nest Keeper, a trusted family member who can inherit full admin rights. Legacy members also get our inactivity succession protocol: we check in with the account owner at 30 and 60 days of inactivity, notify the Nest Keeper at 90 days, and automatically initiate a transfer at 6 months. Your family's memories are never lost.
- Can I delete my account and all my data?
- Yes. You can delete your account from your dashboard settings. We give you a 30-day grace period in case you change your mind. After that, everything is permanently erased from our servers. No hidden copies.
- What's the founding member rate?
- The founding member rate is $49/year - a thank-you to the first families who commit to Family Nest early. When we retire the founding rate (we'll announce it in advance), the standard annual price of $79/year applies to new subscribers. Founding members keep their rate for as long as they stay subscribed. The Legacy plan also has a founding rate of $249 (down from $349) available until Mother's Day 2026. After that, Legacy goes to $349.
